The web is becoming an increasingly powerful tool in any company's arsenal; it can now encompass marketing, sales, communication, productivity and customer relationship management. Any business serious about its online presence, should be considering all of these factors when planning their new website.
With all of our website development projects we aim to maximise the online opportunities, reach the largest audiences and really help you harness the power of the web.

So, how do we go about ensuring that your website looks beautiful, wows all of your clients and peers, sends shivers down the spines of your competition and helps you to sell more, spend less and stay one step ahead?
Whilst we pride ourselves on being agile and taking every project as it comes, we also know that experience has taught us to do things properly, spend time planning each stage, analyse your site and your competitors' sites and, ultimately, ensure that we are going to deliver exactly what you want and what your users want from you.
Our website design process covers everything from initial information gathering & analysis, through card sorting & stakeholder meetings, wireframes & user experience planning. Only then do we actually start to push pixels around the screen to flesh out the design and add some creative flair. We also firmly believe that web designs should be seen on screen not printed onto A3 paper. A website should be demo'd in its natural environment; how else can you demonstrate font scaling, windows resizing, different screen resolutions and browser behaviours? Certainly not on paper.
If you want to find out more about website design and the importance of having the correct solution for your business, it would be worthwhile having a look at some of our recent articles. In particular have a look at our articles on the different types of websites, The guide to setting up a website, The impact of the Disability Discrimination Act on websites and the top tips for website owners. They should give you a good insight into the work involved in setting up a website properly. Once you've read those, also have a look at how Google indexes your website and then get in touch with us to discuss it further.
