Ella Homes & Lettings websites redesigned

We have recently completed the redesign and development of Ella Homes and Ella Lettings websites.   We have been working with Ella for a number of years now and have succesfully completed a number of redesigns and developments of their websites.

The Ella websites are excellent examples of how a site can develop as new technology and equipment become available.  Their original website was designed to work on 600 x 800 resolution screens and was very simple and didn't contain much content.  As they have grown and as the technology available has grown we are now able to use things such as Googles mapping API and Jquery slideshows of properties.  The site is also designed to work with 1024 x 768 resolution as the lowest denominator.

After discussing requirements with Ella and canvasing their customers it was clear that people searching for a new home really wanted to just see everything available; hence the reason that their 'search results' pages now show all ot the properties they have available that match your search criteria.   Once you have clicked 'more details' on a property, you can then page through the next and previous properties without returning to your search results - a feature that has proven to be very popular.
